The most fun horror-game I've played.
Heyy! Surely it's not the best haha... but thanks for playing, I appreciate !
High-speed 3D shooting Halloween game!
It's perfect for this season and the most fun I've ever had!
There was a bug at the start of the wave that caused all the enemies to get stuck when returning to the initial high ground, but the pumpkin army lining up is fun and worth a look, meow~!
Oh oh... I think one of the pumpkins got stuck in a corner, you can see it at 7:28 !
I'll make sure to fix that bug.
You shouldn't be able to jump on the balcony either, I really need to block that hahaha...
Thanks for playing, I really appreciate watching this!
Great game, can't wait to see more!
Hey! Thanks for playing!
Watching this was super insightful.
There's a bug with the sword, if you use it too fast it doesn't switch, also I didn't make it clear that maintaining the melee button gives you the lunge. I think that's why it feels so inconsistent.
I'll make sure to fix this in a post-jam update!
I'll make better gun models too, I swear haha...
this is very Cool Game i like it
Wow, thanks for making this! It was great seeing someone play it, made my day :)
Your welcome
loved it :D made it all the way to lvl 30 before calling it quits, im a huge fan of the genera lol
one recommendation I have for if you ever make something like this again ( spaced out for my sake):
I would recommend shortening the time between rounds, as well as lesseningthe resources spawned as the rounds get higher.
Like if round 10 has a 30 second delay between rounds, and spawns a total of 20 candy. make round 20 have a 20 second delay between rounds and spawn 10 candy. Or something like that.
And keep the timing and candy spawns consistent after a particular level. so level 30+ all have a 10 second delay between rounds and spawn 5 candy.
Doing something like this makes the later rounds slowly more overwhelming. Once you get your groove going, it stops being a "how long can I survive" and turns into a "how long do I want to keep playing".
Wow, you played till 30?? You might have a world record haha!
Thanks for the suggestions, I will surely take a look at this once the jam voting ends. I'm planning to release an updated version right after, with rebalancing and better art.
I don't think I tested passed wave 15 myself. It was more about having something ready for the jam that people could enjoy for 10-15 minutes!
Cheers!
Very nice! I got overwhelmed so quickly, haha! I love the lighting and colors - they add a nice sense of dread and anticipation as the enemies pursue you relentlessly.
Hey, thanks for trying it out!
I loved this game! I went in because I liked the PS1 splash art and it didn't dissapoint. The art is great and the music really sets you into the mood. Keep up the good work :)
Thank you :) I'll check out your game too!
Let's gooooooooooo !
